WKRC Local 12: Could absentee ballots delay election results?
UC political scientist Richard Harknett speaks to mail in voting and reporting of election
Elections officials have urged voters to get their votes in as soon as possible to speed up the process, but with record votes in the mail there will likely be a scramble among media outlets to find a way of consistently reporting results, UC political scientist Richard Harknett tells WKRC, Local 12.
The Hamilton County Board of Elections is expected to release its initial report by 8 p.m. on Election Night.
Harknett is Professor of Political Science and Head of the Department, Co-Director of the Ohio Cyber Range Institute, and Chair of the Center for Cyber Strategy and Policy at the University of Cincinnati.
