Lindner honors 2022-23 student award winners

Students, staff, faculty and cherished guests gather to acknowledge academic excellence

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business held its Student Awards reception in Lindner Hall on April 3 to recognize its standout future business problem solvers for the 2022-23 academic year.

Lindner Dean Marianne Lewis, PhD, served as emcee and opened the reception with a nod to the unique experiences encountered by the honorees.

“Some of you were among the first to take classes here, helping us learn to make the most of our beautiful, new Lindner Hall. And in spring 2020, when our world changed with COVID-19, many of you were here, quickly adapting to online learning, remote co-ops and more,” Lewis said. “Others completed their degrees while working full-time. Your examples are inspiring!”

Students were honored in six categories: Outstanding Undergraduate Students by Academic Area; Outstanding Students in Co-op; Special Recognition; Outstanding Students in Master’s Programs by Academic Area; Beta Gamma Sigma Inductees; and Undergraduate PACEsetters.
