Cincy ranks No. 1 in the state, No. 50 overall in 'Best places to live in the U.S. in 2023-2024'
Cincinnati is the highest-ranked and best city to live in Ohio, according to a recent list released by U.S. News and World Report.
The city was ranked 50th overall in the 150 Best Places to Live in the U.S., coming in between Daytona Beach, Florida and Manchester, New Hampshire.
U.S. News analyzed the 150 most populous metro areas to determine the best places to live. To top of the list, cities had to have good value, be a desirable place to live, have a strong job market and a high quality of life.
Cincinnati's schools, Fortune 500 companies, museums, professional sports teams and restaurants as well as its affordability all factored into the ranking. The Cincinnati Enquirer reported on this news.
The Queen City has also been recognized as the best city for recent college grads (SmartAsset, 2022), with UC offering the best college location in Ohio (Niche, 2023).
