CCM Jazz Lab Bad performs "In the Tradition" concert on Sept. 26

The CCM Jazz Lab Band kicks off its season with a program dedicated to the greats of classic swing music. The concert, titled “In the Tradition,” takes place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 in Corbett Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office.

The CCM Jazz Lab Band plays at a “high professional level,” says music director Craig Bailey. For this concert, students will lend their talents to familiar tunes. The program features swing arrangements of jazz and blues standards such as “Every Day I Have the Blues” and “Easy to Love.” With selections from many of the greatest luminaries of the genre — from Miles Davis to Bill Holman — the concert is sure to get audiences tapping their feet.
