Celebrate the holiday season with upcoming CCM concerts

The festivities begin with CCM's Holiday Jazz Concert on Nov. 24 and Feast of Carols on Dec. 7-8

CCM's collegiate and preparatory ensembles celebrate the winter holidays with a variety of upcoming performances!

Swing into the festive season on Sunday, Nov. 24, with CCM's holiday-themed Wonderland jazz concert. Pianist Ted Rosenthal joins the CCM Jazz Orchestra for an enchanted evening of classic tunes. Rosenthal's holiday album, also titled Wonderland, has been hailed as one of the best holiday records of the past 30 years, making this a can't-miss concert! CCM faculty member Scott Belck conducts. Below, watch a promotional video for the concert.

The festivities continue Dec. 7-8 with Feast of Carols, CCM's annual winter holiday concert of choral favorites. A Cincinnati tradition for more than 100 years, Feast of Carols features performances by the CCM Chamber Choir, CCM Chorale, CCM Graduate Brass Quintet, UC Choruses and Cincinnati Youth Choir. Each performance also features one of the following outstanding guest choirs:

  • Scott County High School (2 p.m., Dec. 7)
  • Oak Hills High School (5 p.m., Dec. 7)
  • Cincinnati Country Day School (2 p.m., Dec. 8)
  • Northern Kentucky Community Chorus (5 p.m., Dec. 8)

Joe Miller, Brett Scott and Robyn Lana conduct, along with guest conductors including Stephanie Nash, Greg Miller, John DeFerraro and Amy Thompson. Each Feast of Carols performance features a mix of iconic classic songs, jovial favorites and sparkling new holiday carols. Below, watch a promotional video for the concert.
