President Pinto shares search update for executive vice president for academic affairs and provost

President Pinto shared the below update today:

Dear all,

I write to share an important update regarding our search for a new executive vice president for academic affairs and provost. We have learned that Gerry Bradley, our previous finalist for the position, is pursuing other opportunities.

As a result, we will relaunch a national search for a new provost in the fall. More details to come on the process and timeline. As previously announced, Interim Provost Kristi Nelson will remain in the role until June. In the near future, I will announce an interim executive vice president for academic affairs and provost to assume the role upon Dr. Nelson’s departure.

I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who participated in the search process, including a special thanks to the search committee. Our talented faculty and staff position us to move forward from a place of strength and stability.

Sincerely,

Neville G. Pinto
President
