Light the way for students: Celebrating the supporters who make CCM shine

CCM honors two extraordinary supporters & a celebrated alum at Moveable Feast: Illuminate on Jan. 23

Story by Elaine Cox, Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations at CCM

UC's College-Conservatory of Music is thrilled to honor longtime supporters Patti Myers and Alan Flaherty, and celebrated alumnus Scott Coulter at Moveable Feast: Illuminate on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026. CCM’s signature gala event raises essential funds to support student scholarships, creative projects and immersive learning experiences that shape the next generation of artists.

Patti Myers and Alan Flaherty

Patti Myers and Alan Flaherty serve as honorary co-chairs on Moveable Feast: Illuminate, and CCM is proud to celebrate their decades of dedication to the college.

Their connection to CCM began as devoted subscribers, attending countless performances and fostering a deep appreciation for the college’s artistic excellence. Over time, their support grew through leadership on the CCMpower Board and philanthropy that has directly impacted numerous students and programs. Patti served on the board from 2016-25, including two years as CCMpower President during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her leadership was instrumental in reimagining Moveable Feast as a virtual event in 2021, reaching audiences in 10 countries and generating the highest net revenue in the event’s history. Through determination, positivity and unwavering commitment, Patti and Alan have profoundly shaped CCM’s students, faculty and mission. Their dedication is a model for what it means to invest in the future of the arts.

Scott Coulter

Joining them in the spotlight is Scott Coulter (BFA Musical Theatre, '93) as the Moveable Feast: Illuminate Alumni Guest of Honor. One of New York City’s most celebrated vocalists, Scott has earned five MAC Awards, five Bistro Awards and two Nightlife Awards, performing in premier venues from Birdland to Feinstein’s at the Regency. His career spans cabaret, symphonic concerts, and musical theatre revues, including collaborations with Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), Liz Callaway and Tony winner Debbie Gravitte. Scott’s artistry is praised for its soaring high notes, pure tone and emotional power, with critics calling him “a stratospheric tenor” whose voice reaches every corner of the room.

Beyond his performance career, Scott is the heart of CCM’s New York alumni network. He welcomes recent graduates to the city, provides a friendly face and mentorship and helps them access jobs at his many national engagements, ensuring the next generation of CCM artists has a supportive community and valuable career opportunities. During Moveable Feast: Illuminate guests can see his work in action in Robert J. Werner Recital Hall, where he and CCM’s Musical Theatre Chair Vincent DeGeorge present a new musical review celebrating one of Broadway’s most beloved composers.

Moveable Feast: Illuminate offers an unforgettable evening of arts, food and celebration. Guests will explore CCM Village, moving from one bite-sized experience to another, enjoying innovative dinner offerings and cocktails from eat well, all while being immersed in performances across every area of CCM — Jazz, Philharmonia, Music Education, Commercial Music Production, Musical Theatre, Opera, Acting, Dance and more.

Every ticket makes a difference, directly supporting scholarships, student travel, master classes and creative projects. By attending, guests not only honor Patti, Alan and Scott, but also become part of a larger community dedicated to cultivating the next generation of artists and innovators.

Moveable Feast: Illuminate is more than an event — it’s a celebration of what makes CCM exceptional, and a tangible way to fuel the future of the arts. Reserve your spot for Moveable Feast: Illuminate and join us in celebrating Patti, Alan, Scott and CCM's student stars of tomorrow.
