GALLERY: CCM Play Series presents 'Rope' Feb. 12-14
Adapted by CCM alumna Amy Berryman and Prof. Brant Russell, tickets for the thriller are on sale now
UC College-Conservatory of Music's Play Series continues with Rope, a mystery thriller centered on college classmates who commit the perfect murder "just for fun." Adapted by CCM alumna Amy Berryman (BFA Drama, '10) and Professor Brant Russell, the play runs Feb. 12-14 in Patricia Corbett Theater.

Set in a "mcmansion" outside of Columbus in January 2000, the production features a full living room built on stage, with scenic design by Professor Charlie Calvert. After two privileged college classmates decide to commit the perfect murder, they tuck the body of their friend into a wooden trunk and host a party with mutual friends and even the victim's siblings.
But one guest is suspicious of the smug hosts serving drinks on a trunk they refuse to open. As thunder grows outside, the horror and tension build in this mystery thriller. Adapted from the play by Patrick Hamilton from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1948 film of the same name, Rope promises an evening of suspense and chills.
