CCM Welcomes the Holidays with Choral Concerts in December
Hundreds of voices will fill the stage of Corbett Auditorium this December as the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) celebrates the season with a pair of holiday-themed concert programs. The annual
Feast of Carols
returns with
2 and 5 p.m. performances
on both Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8. The following Saturday, Dec. 14, CCMs ensemble-in-residence the
Cincinnati Childrens Choir presents its Holiday Concert
with performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Only a limited number of seats remain for each of these concerts.
The annual
Feast of Carols
a tradition that dates back decades will embrace an eclectic mix of holiday songs ranging from the classic and traditional to the contemporary and even barbershop. CCMs Chamber Choir, Chorale and Concert Orchestra, UC Mens and Womens Choruses, Cincinnati Childrens Choir and outstanding area guest choirs, including Anderson, Lakota East and Mason High Schools, will perform these treasures sounds. Conductors Earl Rivers, Brett Scott, Marie Bucoy-Calavan, Michael Fuchs and Robyn Lana invite audiences to sing along to favorite holiday carols during the spectacular Fa-La-La Finale with audience, combined choirs and CCMs Concert Orchestra.
The
Cincinnati Childrens Choirs Holiday Concert
will feature all 450 members of the Choir, including CCM resident choirs and satellite choirs from across the tri-state area, performing holiday songs from around the globe. Robyn Lana conducts.

Bring family and friends to CCM and welcome the December holiday season with festive choral favorites performed by CCMs fabulous choirs and outstanding guest choirs. The Saturday, Dec. 7 concert at 5 p.m. will feature the Anderson High School choir; Sundays 2 p.m. concert on Dec. 8 features Mason High School; and Lakota East High School will conclude the impressive festival of choirs at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Four CCM alumni nominated in 2024 Tony Awards

Four UC College-Conservatory of Music alumni are named nominees in the 77th annual Tony Awards, recognizing the excellent work shared in Broadway productions during the 2023-24 season. The nominees, announced Tuesday, April 30, include Isabella Byrd (BFA Lighting Design and Technology, ’09), Shoshana Bean (BFA Musical Theatre, '99), Dorian Harewood and Leslie Kritzer (BFA Musical Theatre, '99).
