President Ono Interviews the Honorable Andrew J. Young
Andrew J. Young, a longtime civil and human rights activist and a close associate of Martin Luther King Jr., was interviewed by President Santa J. Ono while he visited campus to speak to the Class of 2014 at the December Commencement for undergraduates. They discussed Young's Commencement speech, challenges in the U.S. criminal justice system, Ralph David Abernathy, President Jimmy Carter, Gandhi, his fondest memory of Dr. King and other topics. The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics' CFD 2030 Integration Committee has announced the formation of the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Vision 2045 Team, a multi-institution working group tasked with defining where the field of computational fluid dynamics should be by 2045 to align with the changing and evolving needs of the aerospace industry. The University of Cincinnati's Prashant Khare, Bradley Jones professor and head of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, is leading this specialized group.
