University of Cincinnati Parking Services to Extend Safe Zone Hours
UC Parking Services is extending safe zone hours to make on-campus parking a practical option for late-night studying and access to other facilities, such as the Campus Recreation Center, for those individuals who do not currently have a parking pass.
Beginning Jan. 12, 2015, the new Safe Zone Parking Hours will be 8 p.m. to 5:59 a.m. Safe Zone Parking is $1 for individuals entering and exiting Woodside or Eden Garages during these designated hours.
The
campaign was launched in August 2013 by President Santa Ono in order to raise public safety awareness on campus and the surrounding communities. Part of that campaign is to provide safe access to and around campus through programs such as Safe Zone Parking and NightRide.
