President Ono Interviews the Honorable Andrew J. Young

Andrew J. Young, a longtime civil and human rights activist and a close associate of Martin Luther King Jr., was interviewed by President Santa J. Ono while he visited campus to speak to the Class of 2014 at the December Commencement for undergraduates. They discussed Young's Commencement speech, challenges in the U.S. criminal justice system, Ralph David Abernathy, President Jimmy Carter, Gandhi, his fondest memory of Dr. King and other topics. Engineering professor named KEEN Fellow

Dhuree Seth, assistant professor educator in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, is one of 30 engineering faculty members nationwide who were named 2026 KEEN Engineering Unleashed Fellows. The University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science has been a partner of the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN) since 2024. Seth has been part of KEEN since she was a PhD student more than 10 years ago.
