Ohio Governor John Kasich Appoints Lindner Student to UC Board of Trustees
Ohio Gov. John Kasich appointed Carl H. Lindner College of Business undergraduate Kamree Maull, BBA 17, to serve as a student member on the UC Board of Trustees, beginning June 3, 2015 to May 13, 2017.
Maull, who is majoring in operations management and minoring in business analytics and marketing at the Lindner College of Business, has a long list of campus involvement. The Marvin P. Kolodzik business scholar is also a member of the University Honors program, Business Fellows Leadership Circle and UC's University Funding Board and serves as a mentor through the African American Cultural and Resource Center. He also served as president of the Black Business Student Association and membership chair of the Collegiate 100.
Maull says that his experience and involvement has prepared him for this new campus role. As a board member, Maull hopes to facilitate a greater partnership between Student Government and the Board of Trustees.
I would like to invite members of the Board of Trustees to student government meetings so that there can be dialogue between the student governing body and the governing body of the entire university, Maull says. The goal is to help the Board make more informed decisions, especially regarding those primarily affecting students.
