Intercultural Competence is the active possession of qualities that contribute to effective intercultural communication styles, values, norms and behaviors. Cultures are considered those structured manifestations of human behavior in social life within specific national and local contexts (e.g., educational, political, linguistic, economic, institutional, professional).
