UC Data Center Maintenance Scheduled for Nov. 11
All systems and devices housed in the Data Center will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes, beginning at 5:30 a.m., on the Wednesday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day holiday, for network maintenance.
Major systems affected by this necessary maintenance window include:
- All uc.edu websites
- Canopy, the eLearning ecosystem (Blackboard, Box at UC, Echo360, Kaltura, WebEx)
- UC Flex (financial/HR system)
- UniverSIS (student information system)
- Central Login System (identity management system)
- Data Warehouse
- Microsoft Lync (instant messaging and conferencing tool)
- Microsoft SharePoint
- UC Virtual Private Network (VPN)
- UC FileSpace
- All centrally managed file and print services (all servers housed in the Data Center)
Student, faculty and staff email systems will not be affected by the outage.

Engineering professor named KEEN Fellow

Dhuree Seth, assistant professor educator in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, is one of 30 engineering faculty members nationwide who were named 2026 KEEN Engineering Unleashed Fellows. The University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science has been a partner of the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN) since 2024. Seth has been part of KEEN since she was a PhD student more than 10 years ago.
