Lindner's Master of Science in Taxation Ranked Among Nation's Top Five Online Tax Programs in U.S. News & World Report

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business received a Top 5 ranking for its Master of Science in Taxation program as part of

U.S. News & World Report’s

2016 Best Online Graduate Business Programs (excluding MBA) rankings. 

The Lindner Master of Science in Taxation program was ranked No. 4 among the nation’s online graduate taxation programs and ranked No. 2 among all online graduate tax programs at public institutions. The program was ranked No. 30 among all graduate (non-MBA) business programs and was ranked No. 18 among all graduate (non-MBA) business programs at public universities.

“With a rising national reputation and skillful faculty and students, it’s easy to see why this program is among the fastest growing at Lindner,” says BJ Zirger, associate dean for Lindner’s Online Education.

2016 Best Online Graduate Business rankings are based on key factors such as student engagement, admission selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and student services and technology.

The 2016 ranking of the Lindner Master of Science in Taxation follows a recent run of accolades for Lindner’s

specialized graduate degrees

. In 2015, its Master of Science in Accounting program was ranked No. 8 in the country by Public Accounting Report for all accounting programs with 15 or fewer full-time faculty. Additionally, BestMedicalDegrees.com ranked the Lindner Master of Health Administration among the Top 30 best value graduate online healthcare management degrees in the nation. Lindner specialty degrees in Business Analytics, Finance and Applied Economics have also recently been
