UC Blood Drive Saves More than 2,000 Lives

University of Cincinnati students, faculty and staff rolled up their sleeves the week of April 11 to help save lives in their community with blood donations.

“The event was a successful in registering 905 blood donors, of which 119 were first time donors. The week-long event collected 719 lifesaving products which will help to save over 2,157 lives in Tri-State hospitals,” reports Alecia Lipton, public information officer. “The success of this blood drive is a great way to wrap up the academic year on the UC campus.”
