Rock out, Save Lives at Giving Blood Rocks Radio Tour

Great music, great people and great giveaways, all in the name of saving local lives!

Join Hoxworth Blood Center and Cumulus Radio Group (92.5 The FOX, 103.5 WGRR and 96ROCK) at the first stop of the “Giving Blood Rocks” Radio Tour at Liberty Center on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“The summer months bring a lack of donors combined with increased blood usage,” says Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “That translates into the immense need for successful blood drives to ensure the well-being of our community. The Giving Blood Rocks drive is a fun way to give back and to make sure our shelves have enough lifesaving blood during the long summer months.”

Each donor will receive the following:

• A “Giving Blood Rocks!” T-shirt
• A 92.5 The FOX prize pack
• Automatically entered to win a pair of tickets to the Guns n Roses concert

Hoxworth is always in need of lifesaving blood. Schedule an appointment by calling (513) 451-0910 or visit www.hoxworth.org.

From the pitch to personal impact

May 11, 2026

Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, is uniting blood donors around one shared mission — saving lives close to home — through two unique blood drives this May. From the FC Cincinnati Blood Drive at TQL Stadium to an event honoring local blood recipient and cancer survivor John Mattingly, these blood drives offer meaningful ways to give back. Whether inspired by hometown pride or a powerful personal story, blood donors are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help ensure life-saving blood is available for patients across the Tristate. Patients at local hospitals depend on blood donations every day, and community support is critical to maintaining a strong supply.
