Hoxworth Offering Free Zoo Tickets to Blood Donors

Haven’t seen your favorite furry friend or slithery snake this year at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered!

Hoxworth Blood Center is teaming up with the nationally acclaimed zoo to help encourage the community to save local lives.

Donate blood during Zoo Week, July 11-July 16, and take home two free tickets to the Cincinnati Zoo.

“The summer months bring about an increase in blood usage and unfortunately a decrease in donations,” says Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “We are thrilled to partner with the Cincinnati Zoo at such a critical time and hope to see many donors in the next the week.”

Donate at one of Hoxworth’s eight convenient locations:
• Anderson
• Blue Ash
• Central
• Downtown
• Ft. Mitchell
• Mason
• Tri-County
• Western Hills

Hoxworth is always in need of lifesaving blood. Schedule an appointment by calling (513) 451-0910 or visit www.hoxworth.org.
