Speakers Explore Roots of Prejudice

As part of Holocaust Awareness Weeks 2004: Facing Prejudice, Drs. Paul and Anna Ornstein, emeriti professors of psychiatry at the UC College of Medicine, will present "From Prejudice to Genocide," Wed., April 21, at 11 a.m. A reception and book signing will immediately follow.

UC Physicians Hosts Health Fair at University Pointe

September 21, 2004

UC Physicians will host a health fair and open house at University Pointe in West Chester Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Physicians will be on hand to offer health screenings and consultations. "Big Lil" from the show Survivor will be at the Children's Outpatient Clinic booth until noon to greet guests. Visitors can register to win door prizes and will be given free first aid kits.

Neuroscience Institute Receives Primary Stroke Center Designation

The UC/UH Primary Stroke Center is one of only about 140 in the country to receive JCAHO certification, which is based on the Brain Attack Coalition s recommendations for primary stroke centers and the American Stroke Association's statements guidelines for stroke care.
