24/7 Virtual Mental Health With TimelyCare

Whether you're completing a co-op across the country or pursuing your degree through distance learning from outside Ohio, UC wants you to have access to mental health and well-being support.

University of Cincinnati students who reside outside of Ohio can access free, secure virtual mental health care through TimelyCare, the most trusted virtual health and well-being solution for learning communities. This includes co-op students who are out of state!

Students who reside in Ohio, you can access in-person or virtual therapy services (if your co-op is in Ohio) through Counseling and Psychologial Services here in Cincinnati. 


Distance Learners


The University of Cincinnati provides free mental health counseling and 24/7 support through TimelyCare for currently enrolled distance learning students who reside outside the state of Ohio.

This service is specifically designed to provide access to virtual care for students who are pursuing their UC education remotely and living outside Ohio.


Co-op Students


In support of the well-being and success of all students, the University of Cincinnati provides free mental health and well-being services for eligible co-op students. Co-op students have access to TimelyCare during their first semester of co-op and the semester immediately following their co-op, whether they reside inside or outside Ohio.

Co-op Students Outside Ohio
Students completing a co-op outside Ohio can access TimelyCare, UC's virtual health and well-being platform, from anywhere in the United States.

Co-op Students in Ohio
Students completing a co-op in Ohio have access to TimelyCare as well as University of Cincinnati Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). CAPS services are free for eligible co-op students located in Ohio and include both in-person and virtual counseling. To schedule with CAPS, call 513-556-0648 or use online scheduling. More information is available on the CAPS website.


What resources are available through TimelyCare?

• TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand emotional support to talk about anything, including anxiety, relationships, depression, and school-related stressors.

• Scheduled Counseling: Choose the day, time, and mental health provider that works best for you. (6 visits per year; co-op students can access support during their co-op semester and the following semester)

• Self-Care Content: Access self-care tools and resources 24/7, including meditation, yoga, videos, and expert articles.

• Peer Community: Connect with and support other students in an anonymous, judgment-free space.

TimelyCare offers both scheduled appointments and on-demand support, making it easier to access care while completing a co-op away from campus.

Visit TimelyCare website or download the TimelyCare app from your app store. Register using your UC student email addressYou can access TimelyCare from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.
