Be mindful, move often, nourish and grow with Be Well UC

Faculty and staff are invited to learn and earn (up to $30 in Be Well UC points) while connecting with colleagues from across campus

Back again, the Live Happy Be Well quarterly event is an opportunity to connect with colleagues while participating in experiential sessions and activities. Be Well UC is partnering with the College of Medicine and Campus Recreation to host the event in the CARE/Crawley building 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, May 22.

Three rooms will be set up for 30-minute sessions: "Be Mindful," "Move Often" and "Nourish & Grow." Preregistration is recommended via HR EDGE to ensure your space in sessions like:

  • Mindful Meditation Experience with Dr. Jill Gomez, UC Clermont faculty
  • Eat the Rainbow with Lauren Cohen, Registered Dietitian with UC Dining
  • Powerful Messages from the Past and Present with Lisa Trump, University Health Services
  • Mindfulness and the Imperative for Self-Care with Dr. Sian Cotton, Center for Integrative Wellness
  • Fostering Well-Being and Belonging Through Employee Resource Groups and Inclusive Programming with Dr. Dy’an Marinos, Office of Equity and Inclusion and more

While sessions are being conducted, additional event programming will include:

  • Gifts for the first 150 to join and register
  • Walking tours led by PD&C or visit the Winkler Library to learn about the history of the medical school and the discoveries here
  • Drumming on the front stairs
  • Bearcats Pantry collection at registration
  • Bicentennial Virtual Reality Booth
  • Anthem representatives available to help you set up your Engage program so you can maximize your healthcare dollars
  • FREE access to the CARE/CRAWLEY Rec Center — just bring a photo ID and you’ll sign a waiver prior to entry.
  • Mammograms provided by UC Health in the mobile diagnostics unit (10 a.m.-2 p.m.).
