Healthy UC presents Well-being Wednesdays
Engage in weekly wellness opportunities for students, faculty and staff
Healthy UC strives to help each Bearcat to thrive in a variety of ways. Students, faculty and staff can participate and engage when it works best for them. Details are below and also at the Healthy UC Events page.
Take action this week
Well-being Wednesday starts April 1. Healthy UC encourages all Bearcats to take time to focus on well-being. Here are opportunities to do just that this week:
- Step Competition - Campus Recreation is leading the one-week competition versus Xavier University with the goal to get the highest number of steps. All students, faculty and staff can submit daily step totals to Campus Rec on any of their social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) or email campusrec@uc.edu. Challenge ends Friday, April 3. Participants can join any time and send totals throughout the week. Don't forget to use the hashtags #healthyuc and #UCtheGood to share how you are stepping it up. Shout outs will go to the people with the highest number of steps each day.
- #UCtheGood Experience Sharing - Throughout this month, Healthy UC wants you to share your positive experiences, like chalk art, inspirational quotes, being outdoors, remote studying and working wins and more. Share your experiences in a variety of ways, like using the hashtags #UCtheGood and #healthyuc on social media outlets, uploading pictures in this Google Drive folder (bit.ly/ucthegood), and/or emailing them to healthyuc@uc.edu.
- Online Guided Meditation - SKY!, the student organization, is hosting daily meditation online via ZOOM from 6-6:30 p.m. All are welcome. Make sure to RSVP.
