Southwest Ohio Parent: Seven health screenings every woman should have
Routine health screenings are an important part of keeping yourself healthy and helping to prevent disease from occurring.
Louito Edje, MD, an associate dean of graduate medical education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a UC Health family medicine physician, shared some of the most important health screenings for women with Southwest Ohio Parent magazine, including mammograms, cholesterol screenings, PAP smears and more.
"One of the most important foundations for excellent preventive care is a strong relationship with a primary care physician or allied health professional who can help navigate what is needed," Edje added.
