UC’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) offers dozens of different general studies and arts elective courses in fall 2025. These credit-granting courses are open to all UC students and cover a wide range of topics including dance, movies and media, music and theatre arts!
Learn new moves in ballet, modern and Hip Hop dance classes; or explore how dance affects the mind and body in CCM's new dance for wellness class. Watch classic cinema, TV comedies or Disney musicals in movie and media appreciation classes. Study the music of Taylor Swift or examine how Hamilton revolutionized musical theatre in music appreciation classes.
Jam with a virtual band on your laptop or learn how to play guitar, piano or sing in a choir in music performance classes. Learn how to act, examine theatre history or study the art of stage lighting and sound in theatre appreciation classes.
