UC Data Center Maintenance Scheduled for Nov. 11

All systems and devices housed in the Data Center will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes, beginning at 5:30 a.m., on the Wednesday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day holiday, for network maintenance.

 

Major systems affected by this necessary maintenance window include:

  • All “uc.edu” websites
  • Canopy, the eLearning ecosystem (Blackboard, Box at UC, Echo360, Kaltura, WebEx)
  • UC Flex (financial/HR system)
  • UniverSIS (student information system)
  • Central Login System (identity management system)
  • Data Warehouse
  • Microsoft Lync (instant messaging and conferencing tool)
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • UC Virtual Private Network (VPN)
  • UC FileSpace
  • All centrally managed file and print services (all servers housed in the Data Center)

Student, faculty and staff email systems will not be affected by the outage.
