Two UC Faculty Members to be Honored for Extensive Contributions in Marketing Research
Two University of Cincinnati faculty members at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business are being awarded Research Fellow honors for their substantial contributions in marketing research.
Robert Wyer, research professor of marketing, and Joshua Clarkson, assistant professor of marketing, will both be honored for consumer psychology research in top-tier journals. This is an outstanding honor at Lindner to have two of our marketing faculty recognized as Research Fellows by premier organizations in our field, says Karen Machleit, chair of the Department of Marketing at the Lindner College of Business. Its a nice reminder that our department is part of the research elite in the field.Wyer will receive the Research Fellow designation from the Society for Consumer Psychology at its annual conference in Dallas Feb. 15-18. Wyer has been publishing research since 1964, and his research is highly ranked for productivity, impact and most research citations.
Clarkson will receive his recognition from the Midwest Psychological Association at its annual conference in Chicago April 12-14. With 26 research articles already published in top academic journals, Clarksons star is on the rise. His research record is clearly impressive, Machleit says. His career is off to an exceptional start.
