Under the Direction of Commander Adam R. Williamson, the 55-member ensemble will perform wind band hits, virtuosic solo features, rousing marches, new music by American composers, and patriotic classics in a program that is sure to bring the audience to its feet. The ensemble includes five CCM alums: MU1 Allison Landstedt (MM Voice, '19), MU1 Joel Baroody (MM Trumpet, '10), MUC Wesley Mayhew (MM Trombone, '03), MU1 Tyler Wilkins (MM Bassoon, '13; DMA ,'23) and MU1 Noel Marcano (MM Clarinet, '07).
Established in 1925, the United States Coast Guard Band is the premier musical representative of the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security and is the Coast Guard’s only professional musical ensemble. The Band serves the American people through its mission of promoting public goodwill toward the U.S. Coast Guard, preserving and honoring the heritage, traditions, and history of the Coast Guard and the U.S., enhancing pride within military service, supporting Coast Guard recruiting activities, and performing for official functions.
