CCM presents Cendrillon fairy tale opera Nov. 13-15
Jules Massenet's music shines in this operatic retelling of the beloved Cinderella story
UC College-Conservatory of Music's 2025-26 theatre season continues with fairy tale opera Cendrillon, playing Nov. 13-15, 2025 in Patricia Corbett Theater.
Jules Massenet’s elegant score brings wit and charm to this timeless romance based on Charles Perrault’s Cinderella story. Presented as part of CCM's Opera Series, the production is directed by CCM Professor Brian Robertson and conducted by CCM Professor Mark Gibson.
Despite being under the thumb of her evil stepmother, a poor girl wishes for her dream to come true. Enter her fairy godmother, who provides a ticket to the royal ball. The girl meets Prince Charming and they fall in love. When the clock strikes midnight, though, she vanishes… leaving only a single shoe behind.
One of the world’s most beloved fairy tales is brought to life at CCM, featuring performances by the college's student opera/voice stars, instrumentalists and magical designs by CCM Theatre Design and Production.
Join us for CCM Opera Series' performances of Cendrillon on Nov. 13-15. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office — discounts available for UC and CCM students, faculty and staff.
