Spencer Lackey is taking his scary stories from social media to feature films with Lust, a movie he wrote and will direct. A few months ago, The Hollywood Reporter informally surveyed agents, managers and producers about who could be the next Curry Barker (Obsession) or Kane Parsons (Backrooms). UC College-Conservatory of Music alumnus Spencer Lackey (BFA Acting, '17) was one of the names that kept coming up as a potential "next big thing in the horror space."
CCM doctoral student appointed as May Festival Conducting Fellow

The Cincinnati May Festival has announced the appointment of Dami Choi, a first-year DMA student in CCM’s renowned choral conducting program, as its Conducting Fellow for the 2026-27 season. In this role, Davis will be responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of all undergraduate and graduate recruitment and admissions for CCM. Working in partnership with college and university leadership, Davis will work to ensure that CCM's enrollment goals continue to align with its artistic and academic priorities. His appointment begins on Oct. 1, 2026.
