Watch highlights from the CCM Wind Symphony's season-opening concert

Featuring Leshnoff's Symphony for Winds & faculty artist Sooyun Kim in Puckett's 'Shadow of Sirius'

Highlights from the CCM Wind Symphony's season-opening concert are now available to watch on demand. The Sept. 19, 2025, performance, titled "Tributes," featured music selections that were composed as tributes by Joel Puckett, James David, Michael Gandolfi and Jonathan Leshnoff.

Audiences can now re-live the performance by watching Kevin Michael Holzman lead the CCM Wind Symphony in Jonathan Leshnoff's Symphony for Winds and Joel Puckett's Shadow of Sirius, featuring faculty artist Sooyun Kim, flute. Presented as part of CCM's Winds Series, the concert showcased students of the CCM Wind Symphony with Kim; guest artist Joel Puckett, composer; and alumni guest artist Randell Bertsche (BM Music Education, '18), conductor.

The concert marked Kim's first public performance at CCM as a new faculty member; she joined the college as an Assistant Professor of Flute on August 15. The "Tributes" performance was originally presented in CCM's Corbett Auditorium on Sept. 19, 2025. Learn more about the concert in our digital program
