UC expands partnership with Thales for AI research

Thales is a global aerospace, defense and digital technology firm. Headquartered in France, it employs 83,000 people in dozens of countries, according to the Business Courier.

Engineering student embraces the Bearcat experience

The University of Cincinnati stood out to Thavishka Gamage because of the top-ranked cooperative education (co-op) program and the Cincinnati community. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science and will graduate with his Master of Engineering degree in industrial and systems engineering this spring. He was part of student organizations across campus and connected with the College of Engineering and Applied Science community.

The Award was established to encourage and support in a special way the advanced education and career of truly exceptional graduate music students who have the potential to make a distinguished contribution to the field of music.

UC hosts successful RAISE AI summit with high school outreach

The University of Cincinnati in March hosted its Responsible AI for Student Empowerment summit. The conference, created in collaboration by UC's 1819 Innovation Hub and UC Digital Technology Solutions, works to bring together students from local schools for a day of inspiration, robotics and cutting-edge AI exploration. Due to overwhelming interest from schools across the region, the university added a second conference date so other schools could participate.

UC IT student is set to graduate one year after completing high school

By taking College Credit Plus classes as a high schooler, Gage Sweet was able to complete most of his bachelor of science in information technology degree before graduating from West Clermont High School. Now, one year after receiving his high school diploma, Sweet is graduating with his BSIT from University of Cincinnati.
