Teach for OLLI
Share your knowledge with the OLLI community.
The moderators who lead OLLI classes are volunteers who share their knowledge, passions, and hobbies with the OLLI community of lifelong learners. We are looking for moderators in all fields of knowledge from art to zoology and everything in between.
Proposals for Fall 2024 are now being accepted.
Fall Term Dates at most locations: Sept. 23-Nov. 18 (no classes Nov. 11)
Fall Term Dates at Adath Israel, Mondays: Sept 23-Nov. 25 (no classes Oct. 14 or Nov. 11)
Please read the instructions on the form carefully and select the correct form for your class format. Not sure? Use the Teach for OLLI Interest Form to describe your idea and receive follow up advice from the Curriculum Committee.
NOTE: New moderators of multiweek courses must complete Gateways to Success orientation on Friday, June 14, 1-3:30pm, at UC Victory Pkwy Campus. Alternatives are available for those with scheduling conflicts or planning to teach on Zoom from a remote location.
Multiweek Course -- any class that meets for 2 or more weeks in person at any location or on Zoom.
OLLI Sampler -- one-time presentation that meets 12:45-2pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays, and is suitable for a large audience. Samplers at Victory Pkwy Campus are hybrid, with students in the room and online simultaneously.
Wednesday WOW, FAB Friday, or Friday Salon -- one-time presentation lasting 2 to 2.5 hours: 9:30am-12pm on Wednesdays at Victory Pkwy Campus (hybrid with students in the room and online simultaneously); 9:30am-12pm, Fridays at Ohio Living Llanfair; or 1-3pm at Victory Pkwy Campus or on Zoom.
Events, Tours, Fieldtrips, Other One-Time Presentations -- any one-time program or presentation that does not fit into the categories, time-frames, locations, or formats above.
