Conveniently Located Upscale Accommodations

Summer intern and co-op housing is available Sunday, May 10 - Saturday, August 8, 2026* at University Park Apartments, located at 2545 Dennis Street, Cincinnati, OH 45219.

University Park Apartments offer fully furnished single- and multi-person units, including:

  • 2-bedroom / 2-bath (double occupancy) - two beds per bedroom
  • 2-bedroom / 1.5-bath (single occupancy) - single-style layout (limited availability)
  • Kitchens equipped with a full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, and countertop microwave
    Please note: dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items are not provided. 
  • Bathrooms with tub-style showers
  • Individual heat/air control in each bedroom
  • High-speed Internet access
  • On-site, pay-as-needed laundry facilities
  • Game room with ping pong and foosball tables
  • Study and TV lounges
  • Front desk service with Residence Life personnel

The University of Cincinnati is unable to accommodate intern housing requests outside of the May 10–August 8, 2026 date range. Please plan your application accordingly.

Shared Apartment

Single occupancy, will not have a roommate, limited availability.

Requirements

  • A four (4)-week minimum stay is required.
  • Housing reservations must be made at least 15 business days prior to your arrival date. 
  • If you do not request a roommate, you will be assigned one of the same gender, around the same age, and possibly with the same intern company as yourself. 
  • A non-refundable $175 processing fee per person is required at the time of registration.
  • CES prefers your housing is paid in full at the time of booking, but we realize this may not be an option for everyone. At minimium, we require you pay 50% of your total balance at the time of booking. The final balance will be due by June 15, 2026.

2026 Optional Add-Ons

The following optional Add-Ons are available to make your stay more comfortable:

  • Parking Pass: Available at Calhoun Garage with unlimited in-and-out privileges. Calhoun Garage is directly below UPA.
  • Campus Dining Center Pass: Pre-purchase a set number of meals to enjoy during your stay on campus. 
  • Recreation Center Pass: Access to our 212,000 square feet recreation facility.

Easy Access to Work, Food, Entertainment and More

UC is at the center of Uptown, offering an electric energy and a cool college town vibe with a diverse population of educators, students, and artists. The eclectic neighborhood has a vibrant food scene, locally owned shops, quaint coffee shops, a movie theater, groceries (Target is right across the street from UPA), hair salons, and package pickup, all within a 5-minute walk or bike ride from campus. Downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky offer hundreds of dining, shopping and entertainment options, via a short ride share of no more than 10 minutes, depending on the destination.

FAQ

Your apartment includes a bedroom(s), a full bathroom, a common area and a full kitchen. Each bedroom has XL twin beds, dressers, desks and desk chairs. (You will need to bring your own linens or purchase them across the street at Target). The common area includes a couch, chair and coffee table. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, countertop microwave and cooktop/oven combination: NOTE: NO COOKWARE OR UTENSILS ARE PROVIDED. Please be prepared to bring your own if needed.

Personal Items: Toiletries, including soap, shampoo, hand soap, tootbrush/toothpaste, hand sanitizer, etc.

Kitchenware: Pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc.

Miscellaneous: A small reading lamp for your desk, fan, clothes hangers, iron, clothes basket or laundry bag, television and laptop.

Linens: A comforter/blanket, XL TWIN bed sheets, pillow, towels, wash cloth, etc. A few apartments have full size beds. We will email you if your room has a full bed.

  • Hotplates, popcorn poppers, toaster ovens, grills (e.g., George Foreman or similar), fryers or any appliance with exposed heating elements.
  • Candles, kerosene lanterns or heaters.
  • Pets
  • Powerful sound systems or stereos (a personal system with headphones is fine.)
  • Waterbeds or mattresses (We provide mattresses and box springs and they cannot be removed.)
  • Halogen lamps

If you know another person registering for UC summer intern housing, you can request them as a roommate during the registration process. Otherwise, you will be paired with the same gender, around the same age, and possibly with the same internship program/company as yourself. 

  • In case of an emergency needing response from police, fire or medical personnel, the University of Cincinnati Police Department (UCPD) can be reached at 513-556-1111. To avoid being sent to another jurisdiction, when calling from a cell phone on campus, please be sure to call 513-556-1111 instead of 911.
  • In case of a fire or other emergency requiring evacuation, leave the building in a calm, orderly fashion. 
  • In case a weather emergency is spotted in the area, proceed to a safe location in your hall located at marked areas and stairwells and hallways with no windows.
  • Notify the front desk staff, as soon as possible if an issue arises that impacts your stay with us. You may be asked to submit an incident report.
  • Campus visitors are strongly encouraged to travel in groups, particularly during the evening hours. Pay attention to your surroundings at all times.
  • Guests are encouraged to keep their doors locked at all times, even when going down the hall to dispose of garbage.
  • Always lock your bike and attach it to a bike rack. U-locks are recommended over cable locks. Lock bikes through the tire as tightly as possible.
  • Blue Lights are available throughout campus should a dangerous situation occur; for use follow the instructions on Blue Light Help Post. If a situation were to unravel please move to a safe area and/or call the emergency numbers above.
