Campus Recreation is excited to offer nationally accredited courses for the future fitness professional. We aim to offer a prep course each semester that prepares individuals for their respective certification exam.


Schwinn Indoor Cycling Power Certification

Saturday, December 2, 2023 | Start Time - 9:00AM

Experience the latest technology from Schwinn providing power measurement and metrics resulting in amazing classes using accurate power. This critically acclaimed certification, based on the Schwinn® Cycling Coach's Pyramid™, allows you to work smart, break through barriers, fill your room with riders and shine in the studio. American Council on Exercise Certifications

Group Fitness Instructor | Personal Trainer 

American Council on Exercise offers NCCA-accredited certifications for group fitness instructors and personal trainers. This course through Campus Recreation will prepare participants to take the ACE exam and provide practical, hands-on skills for leading fitness classes or working with clients. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have the chance to interview and audition for a position on the fitness team with Campus Recreation.


Overview

All individuals interested in taking this course will be required to submit an application before registering for the course. Please note, only tweleve (12) applicants will be accepted into the course. 
 
Completion of this course does not guarantee employment with Campus Recreation. You will be required to interview and audition for a position.
 
Course Includes: 
  • 8-10 weeks of in-person instruction
  • Additional assignments, labs, and quizzes
  • Mentorship program with current instructors or trainers
  • Practice exam
  • Mock class audition
