Best of the Bearcats
Are you ready to test your strength? Come join your fellow Bearcats on the Fitness Floor for our weeklong lifting event, Best of the Bearcats!
During the week of March 2 - 6, you will be able to push your limits with each day dedicated to a different lifting event! Your goal is to lift as much as you can, work fast as you can, and complete as many reps as you can for each respective event!

General Information
No official registration is required to participate.
To participate, see the Fitness Staff on the Fitness Floor at the CRC during the week the event is active.
All attempts must be observed and recorded by Fitness Staff to count.
Scoring is separated into male & female divisions.
- For Barbell movements (squat, bench, hip thrust, deadlift), scoring is based on your division.
- Max Division - Scoring is calculated by max weight lifted divided by body weight.
- Reps Division - Scoring is based on the amount of successful reps performed at the designated percentage of body weight.
For Non-Barbell movements (row & pushups), scoring is based on time and number of reps, respectively.
To be considered for overall winner, you must participate in every event.
