Change Existing Major to a New Major

The change of college form allows you to make certain changes to your education, such as changing, adding, or dropping a major or minor. Please read the following Change Existing Major instructions carefully, before starting your application.

Changing an Existing Major to a New Major means that you no longer wish to pursue your current major and would like to work towards earning a different degree. This removes the current major from your degree plan and replaces it with the new selection if approved.

Currently enrolled degree–seeking students who wish to change their major will want to select Change an Existing Major to a New Major. Students can use the Majors & Programs page to view current major offerings. (e.g. Students wishing to change their major from a Business Analytics BS to a Finance BBA, or students wishing to switch from a Chemistry BS to a Chemistry BA.)
