Update Your FERPA Preferences

Students may elect to block the release of specific FERPA–releasable information. This process is done via self–service in Catalyst. Once information is blocked, written consent of the student is required to release this information

Catalyst Instructions

  1. Log in to Catalyst.
  2. Select the My Profile tile.
  3. On the left-hand side, select FERPA.
  4. You can either restrict individual data fields or entire groups of data.
    1. To set an individual data field restriction, open the item you would like to restrict, select the box next to Restricted, then click Save.
    2. To restrict an entire group of data, open that set of data, select Restrict All under the data set, then click Save in the upper right-hand corner.
  5. You will see a check mark next to any data you have restricted.
