When can I enroll in classes?
Open Enrollment—also called online registration—is when all active students are able to register without special access or permission. Newly admitted students and students who have not enrolled in the past year will be able to register during Open Enrollment.

Dropped classes do not show up on your academic record, and you are not charged for a dropped class.

When can I edit credit hours and/or the grading basis for my classes?
After you have registered, there is a period of time when you are able to edit your credit hours (for variable credit classes) or your class grading basis (normal, pass/fail, audit) without special permission or additional paperwork. Watch our Editing a Class video for instructions.

When are registrations considered late?
Any registration request—add, drop, withdrawal, edit, etc.—is considered a late registration transaction after the last day to withdraw and is subject to the Registration Exception Appeals Policy.

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Select the My Academics tile on your student home page in Catalyst
- Open the Classes and Schedule accordion, and select View My Schedule
- Make sure My Class Schedule is being displayed under the Enroll tab
- Select the term, then click Continue
- Classes in which you are registered will appear on the screen.
- You can filter what you see by checking or unchecking the filter options, if you wish.
- Click the calendar icon next to a class to view the drop and withdrawal deadlines for that specific class
- Remember, each of your classes could have different drop and withdrawal deadlines, so it is important to check the deadlines for each class.
- Drops:
- The class won't show up on your transcript.
- You will receive a 100% refund.
- The drop deadline is listed under Drop-Retain Record and Withdrawal Without Penalty.
- Withdrawals:
- The class remains on your transcript as a withdrawal.
- Charges for the class remain on your bill.
- The withdrawal deadline is listed under Drop With Penalty and Withdraw With Penalty.
Viewing Your Schedule
Once you have either registered for your classes via Catalyst or your Add/Drop Form has been processed, you will want to confirm that your registration is correct. Follow the below steps to double-check your registration.
- If you are not already there, login to Catalyst
- Click on the My Academics tile on your Student Homepage
- Select the Classes and Schedule drop-down menu
- Choose View My Schedule
- Pick the radio button to the left of the term you want to confirm, and press Continue
Double–Checking Your Schedule
Your full schedule for the selected term will display on this page. Here are some guidelines to make sure your schedule is correct:
- Make sure the status of your class is Enrolled, Waiting (for wait list registration), Dropped, or Withdrawn as you had intended
- Verify that the units (credit hours) for the class are correct
- Verify that the grading (normal, pass/fail, audit) option for your class is correct
- Double-check that the Days & Times and Start/End Date match for the section you wanted to add
If the class is not showing in your Class Schedule, you are not enrolled.
