Spring final exams must be administered remotely unless the content requires an in–person examination. In–person examinations must abide by the established social distancing classrooms capacities. Keep in mind that most classrooms do not provide sufficient space for in-person examinations while meeting social distancing requirements. 

Asynchronous classes will have remote/online exams as determined by the instructor. Instructors should be prepared to offer remote/online make–up exams if a student has an exam conflict.

Unless otherwise listed above, evening and Saturday class examinations are to be administered during the examination week at the regularly scheduled class time.

Socially distancing classroom capacities do not provide sufficient space for block exams so there will be no on–campus classrooms block exam schedule. If your department decides to conduct remote/online block exams, the spring time blocks are Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, April 22–April 27, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. Only courses in which all sections have agreed to participate in a common examination at a common time are eligible for block examination scheduling. If a conflict occurs between a regular exam and a block exam, the block exam must offer a make–up exam. If a student has a conflict with two block exams at the same time, the professors of the conflicting courses must offer a make–up exam. 

Online Class Grading is available 24 hours a day.

Any student having three examinations on one day can request postponement or reassignment of one of them provided it can be worked out with the instructor of one of the courses in question.

The examination schedule does not apply to graduate and in–service classes that meet once a week, usually in the late afternoon (4:00 p.m. or later) and are largely attended by part–time students. Final examinations in these classes are to be given remotely/online during the examination week during the regular class time.
