University Honors Housing
Many UHP students choose to live in honors housing, as UC offers a variety of on-campus housing options. For Fall 2026, honors housing is available in the following locations and styles:
- Turner Hall offers suite-style rooms.
- Marian Spencer Hall offers junior suite-style rooms.
- Morgens Hall offers apartment options.
- Siddall Hall offers traditional room options.
The UHP-reserved spaces in these buildings will fill based on demand from first-year students. The options for styles of rooms provide a variety of accommodations and cost options. Visit the Housing website to learn about all of UC's on-campus housing options and see virtual tours of each building.
University Honors Program students are not required to live on a UHP-reserved floor, but many of our students choose this option to be close to fellow students in the honors community. Beyond these floors, there are numerous options for you to consider, as UC offers a wide variety of apartment-style, suite-style, and traditional residence halls. University Housing offers numerous Living-Learning Communities and themed floors; see the community living section of the housing website to learn more about all your options. Please note that UHP-reserved floors are not living-learning communities, and do not require an additional application.
Questions about housing?

First-Year Students: What is Priority Housing?
First-year students enjoy the benefits of priority housing in at least one of two ways. Primarily, eligible students in the University Honors Program (UHP) who complete a housing application and pay the room reservation fee before the deadline will be assigned their room based on their application before the general assignment process. Usually, students are reviewed and assigned based on the date the room reservation fee is paid. University Honors students who reserve their room much closer to the deadline will still be assigned prior to the general population.
The second benefit of priority housing is that certain floors/communities in Marian Spencer Hall, Siddall Hall, Turner Hall, and Morgens Hall are reserved specifically for first-year students in the University Honors Program. These communities provide a variety of accommodation and cost options to our students. This benefit gives students the option to live near a greater number of fellow UHP students. To take advantage of this option with a roommate, both roommates must be UHP students.
Returning Students and Honors Housing
In early February, all returning and upper-class students will be able to complete the housing renewal application. The housing priority benefits are strictly for first-year students. Returning and upper-class students do not have the benefit of reserved housing or priority in placement. For more information about this process, contact University Housing.
