The University Honors Program offers numerous leadership and engagement opportunities for current UHP students. If you're a UHP student and want to get involved with recruiting and welcoming new UHP students, you're in the right place!
For all three of the opportunities listed below: applications will be open from January 23rd until February 20th at 11:59pm. Decisions will be made in early March.
Ambassadors & Leadership Team Application
Are you interested in representing the UHP to prospective first-year and transition students? We are looking for enthusiastic and committed students to serve as UHP Ambassadors for the 2026-27 academic year. Get experience with public speaking, grow your leadership skills, and become a part of our Ambassador community!
If you're a current Ambassador who wants to recommit for next year--or to apply for a role on the Leadership Team, which counts as an Honors Experience!--please fill out this form as well.
Welcome Mentor Application
Are you seeking leadership or mentoring opportunities? Would you like to support incoming students and help them to build community in UHP during the early months of their college journey? If so, we would love for you to join us as a UHP Welcome Mentor in this pre-approved Honors Experience!
Orientation Student Presenter Application
As we prepare to welcome incoming students for Fall 2026, we are seeking two dynamic and enthusiastic scholars to join us this summer as UHP Orientation Student Presenters. This is a paid position, which requires availability in the mornings throughout the summer.
