Eligibility, Application, & Timeline

UHP Creative Fellows is a signature pre-approved experience open to all students in the University Honors Program, regardless of major or year.

Participants do not need prior creative experience, nor do they have to be skilled in any artistic medium, but rather, they should have a curious mind and interest in stretching one's creative muscle through layered challenges, reflection, and collaboration. Be advised that though creative products will be a central part of this experience, at its core, UHP Creative Fellows works to provide students an outlet to think, embrace, and extend reflective practice through artistic expression.

• The Spring 2027 application will be made accessible on this page opening on Monday, November 2nd and closing on Sunday, November 22nd. 
• Applicants will be notified of their status within the week following the application deadline. 
• Students interested in applyinh are encouraged to attend one of the information sessions and keep a look out for announcements in the UHP Newsletter! 

The UHP Creative Fellows cohort will meet in-person for 13 weeks (January 18th to April 12th) during the spring semester. A specific date and time will be decided upon based on applicants' preferences of the provided options within the application. Students can expect a bi-weekly rotation alternating between cohort meetings (formal, in-person gatherings) and studio time (independent work outside usual meeting time).

During the pilot semester, participants will be asked to remain flexible, as logistics could change based on needs. Below is a general outline of the experience's involvement:
