Opportunities for growth and friendship!

UHP is the perfect program for me as it allows me to personalize my learning experience to fit me and my goals. It provides me with ways to explore new opportunities and experiment with new ideas, without the fear of failure or judgment. The community is incredibly strong, and UHP makes me feel like I belong here at UC.

So far, my honors seminar, International Institutions, has had the biggest impact on me. I made numerous connections with other students that I never imagined I would, and had many once-in-a-lifetime experiences while in Belgium and the Netherlands. I also had the opportunity to tie in a hands-on experience with my major by creating a promotional video for this travel program. The memories I made, as well as the connections I built on this trip, will last a lifetime. 

Jump at every opportunity you have in your first semester; it's the perfect chance for a fresh start with such great and welcoming energy!

I am looking forward to hopefully studying abroad in Spain this summer, and making that into an honors experience as I delve even deeper into my Spanish education! I am so excited to be working for the honors program and utilizing my skills with media production to better the program as a whole.
