Transfer Equivalency Database
The Transfer Equivalency Database is intended to provide a preview of how courses from other institutions may transfer to UC.
Course evaluation reports are provided once an application for admission is completed and all required official transcripts for prior coursework are submitted.
The Transfer Equivalency Database is updated frequently with the intention of being as accurate as possible. Please note that information available here is subject to change at any time and is not a guarantee of transfer.
Helpful tips for using the database:
- Course Not in Database: The course has not been previously evaluated but may still be eligible for UC transfer credit.
- Block Credit: Awarded as general elective credit in the most appropriate UC subject when no direct UC course equivalent exists.
- Credit Hour Shortage: If an external course carries fewer credits than the UC equivalent, the number of credits awarded is based on the external course value.
- Non-semester Credits: Non-semester credit (e.g., units, quarter hours) is converted to semester hours when officially transferred to UC.
