University Honors Program

Attention First-Year Students: We're Going on a Retreat!

Every fall, we invite 150 of our incoming first-year students to kick off the year at our University Honors Welcome Retreat. It's an incredible tradition that sets students off to have a great start. You'll meet dozens of new friends who live all around campus, get advice from upperclass student leaders, meet professionals from the UC community who are invested in your success. We have many activities scheduled including the Adventure Challenge and bonfire as well as small group breakouts. For the first time, you'll also meet your instructor, peer leader, and fellow classmates for your Gateway to University Honors class before class even starts. That way, you'll show up for class the first day and already have familiar people you've already met.
