What I love most about UHP

What I love most about UHP are...

  1. Its emphasis on reflection of experiences. I think we often don't reflect as much as we should to observe how our experience fits into the bigger picture.
  2. UHP allows and encourages students to be multidiscplinary, offering seminars which can supplement a student's niche interest without taking any required classes.
  3. Priority registration and special opportunities such as research are always a bonus.

Favorite honors experience

My favorite honors experience is definitely the Biomedical Research and Mentoring Program (RaMP) because coming from a backround of no research experience, I was quickly able to form a network of connections at Cincinnati Children's and UC Health, allowing me to discover if research is right for me!

Best UC moment so far

My favorite UC moment would be watching the Bearcats battle Alabama in the CFP playoffs in 2022. Although it was a lost battle, it was one of the greatest runs in UC football history, and I am just glad I was able to experience it my freshman year.

I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.

What's next?

I will be taking the MCAT and applying to medical school my 3rd and 4th year of college, hoping to matriculate in 2025. If not, I will take a gap year and travel!
