SOC3074: Sociology of Race
Description
This course will provide the student with an in depth understanding of the history of racism, both individual and institutional, in the United States and globally. While a component of the course centers on the historical development and implications of racism, most of the course materials will focus on contemporary matters including, but not limited to, politics, popular culture and sports.
