Proceedings
The Proceedings of the Scholarly Showcase is an online, open-source journal produced by University of Cincinnati Press in collaboration with UC’s Undergraduate Research Program.
Students who present at the Showcase have the option of publishing their work in the Proceedings.
All items published in the Proceedings are produced under the guidance of a faculty member or other research practitioner. Content is not subjected to peer review.
Just as students require permission from their project advisor to present at the Showcase, they require permission to publish in the Proceedings. Project advisors will not give permission if they intend to publish the work elsewhere (e.g., peer-reviewed journal) or if they feel the work is too preliminary for public record.
In addition to presentation titles and abstracts, students commonly present posters, slide decks, essays and video presentations.
